Welcome! As a facilitator and writer, I work closely with medical professionals, patients, and community artists to strengthen wellbeing. With a master's degree in Art Education from the University of Cincinnati and professional certification in Narrative Medicine at Columbia University, I'm an experienced patient story collector through the U.S. Department of Veterans’ Affairs initiatives, My Life, My Story and Take 15! initiatives.
I'm a founding member of Taft Research Group at the University of Cincinnati, I investigate the relationship between arts and medicine along with a team of interdisciplinary colleagues. In my work, I utilize program research, development, and facilitation skills for interdisciplinary projects, which have included designing an AI-app for cancer patients that offers poetry and reflective writing opportunities; co-facilitating Narrative Medicine workshops at Good Samaritan Hospital; conducting research focus groups and creating patient education materials for Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. |
